In a food processor or using a mortar and pestle, ground your cardamom pods until the seeds are finely ground and the pods are split.

Boil the water in a small pot over medium heat. Add the cloves, nutmeg, and ground cardamom. Simmer until the spices are fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Stir in the sugar. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar is dissolved, about 3 minutes.

Remove from heat. Stir in the tea. Turn on the heat to medium. Let the tea boil up twice, being careful the boiling tea doesn’t boil over the pot.

Remove from heat, and stir in the milk until combined.
