Step 1

Pulse the coffee and sugar in a mini food processor to make a fine powder (or use a pestle and mortar). Tip onto a saucer.

Step 2

Dip the rim of 2 chilled martini glasses in ½ tbsp chilled espresso martini, then into the sweetened coffee powder to coat.

Step 3

Place the remaining espresso martini and advocaat into a cocktail shaker with some large cubes of ice. Shake well. Strain into the prepared glasses and serve immediately. Add an extra dusting of the sweetened coffee powder on top too, if liked.
