Add chicken, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, bacon bits, flour, cream cheese, egg, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a large bowl. Combine until evenly mixed.

Heat a thin layer of canola oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Once the oil is hot, scoop a golf ball size amount of the mixture onto the frying pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 165˚F (74˚C).
